Who We Support
The mission of the Israel Olive Bond is to establish a large-scale Zionist agricultural venture dealing with olive trees that focuses on:
The Or Movement
The Or Movement's vision is to encourage young Israelis and immigrants to promote, develop, and populate the regions of Negev and Galilee. (These two regions in Israel represent more than 70% of Israel's territory, yet currently houses less than 30% of its population.)
Israel La'ad was founded in 2004 to address the special needs of these underprivileged groups in Israeli society. It currently operates three main projects in several towns across Israel: Feed the Hungry, Afternoon Learning Centers, and Ride for Pride.
Parallel Lives Association brings together combat soldiers from Special Operations Units of the Israeli Defense Forces with young Jews from around the world, with the aim in mind of creating a dialogue and long-lasting bonds between them. The relationships created enhance Jewish identity for both sides, create bonds of friendship, increase solidarity with Israel within the realm of Diaspora youth, and create awareness as to the Jewish world amongst the soldiers.
According to evidence from the Biblical period, the methods of producing oil and wine were identical, and oil and wine are often mentioned together in the Bible
The olive tree lives longer than other fruit trees, and its rare and wonderful ability to survive has made it a symbol of power for long life.
