FAQ's
A. You'll know exactly where your tree is located and will be able to visit it. With one donation, you support a number of different Israeli-based organizations and pro-Israel American ministries.
Q. Is the olive oil I receive with the sponsorship package provided from my olive tree that I sponsor?
A. No. It takes years for an olive tree to produce oil; the oil you receive is from a more mature olive tree from the group we support in Israel.
Q. What portion of my gift is tax deductible?
A. After deducting the value of your sponsorship package ($25), the remaining $105 is tax-deductible..
Q. Where will the tree I sponsor be located?
A. Our Olive Tree Bond sponsored field is located in Megiddo at the lower Galilee in the Jezreel valley. All sponsored trees will be in this field. It is a prime location due to its significant biblical role, its easy access from the main road, and the great views of Jesus' home town of Nazareth and Mount Tabor. Most Christian tour groups stop in this area while touring.
Q. What should I expect after I make a donation to sponsor a tree?
A. After sponsoring a tree, you will receive a receipt for your donation and your sponsorship package will be sent out within 7-10 weeks of when an olive tree is sponsored. The package will include a certificate, diagram of where your olive tree is located, a 17-ounce bottle of high quality olive oil from Israel, and an attractive booklet with interesting facts and recipes about olive oil and olive trees. (Email is the preferred method, but if an email address isn't available, receipts will be sent via regular mail.)
The fruit must be taken to the olive press immediately after harvesting to ensure top quality oil.
